1. Using Second Stoop
Second Stoop is a marketplace for secondhand furniture in New York City. You need an account to buy, sell or deliver. You must be 18 or older and give accurate information when you sign up.
2. Accounts and verification
Accounts are created in an unverified state. We confirm your email address and phone number before an account becomes active. Shops must complete business setup before publishing listings. Drivers must complete onboarding and be approved before accepting deliveries.
3. Listings and orders
Sellers are responsible for describing items accurately, including size, weight and condition. Sellers keep 100% of their asking price; Second Stoop earns only on delivery, which is shown as a single price at checkout. Buying an item and booking its delivery happen in the same checkout.
4. Deliveries
Deliveries are performed by independent contractors. Building access rules, certificates of insurance and scheduled windows must be respected by everyone involved.
5. Payments
Payment is collected at checkout and released to the seller after delivery. Refunds and cancellations follow the policy shown on your order.
6. Conduct
No illegal items, no harassment, no misrepresentation. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new version.
